At least seven Israelis were injured Thursday, including one critically, in the northern cities of Karmiel and Nahariya following rocket fire from Lebanon, Channel 12 reported.
Six people were wounded when a rocket struck Karmiel, near Acre, with one in serious condition, while another person was injured by shrapnel in Nahariya.
The rockets caused significant material damage and fires in both cities, with power outages reported in several areas of Karmiel.
About 25 rockets were launched toward the Western Galilee in less than an hour, besides three drones that were intercepted.
Air raid sirens sounded at least twice in seven cities and towns across northern Israel after US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon, which took effect at midnight Thursday local time (2100GMT).
Israel had been carrying out a military campaign in Lebanon since March 2, soon after start of the Iran war, which is also on hold since the April 8 truce mediated by Pakistan. More than 2,000 people were killed and 1 million displaced in the attacks.
