85th Academy Awards

"Argo" won the Best Picture award at the 85th annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles.

The Oscars ceremony which was held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles was presented by Seth MacFarlane.
"Argo", a film about the rescue of 6 US citizens in Iran won the Best Picture award.
Jennifer Lawrence won the Best Actress for her performance in the "Silver Linings Playbook" and Daniel Day-Lewis took home the Best Actor award for his role in "Lincoln".
During the Academy Awards ceremony, Ang Lee won the Best Director award for "Life of Pi."
