Syrian army forces dropped barrel bombs from helicopters on the town of Tell Rifaat, killing ten people and injuring dozens on Wednesday, Syrian Revolution General Commission (SRGC) said in a statement.
Several houses were damaged and some others destroyed due to the shelling, said the SRGC.
Army helicopters reportedly dropped one barrel bomb each on the towns of Darayya and Khan Sheik near Damascus and Taftanaz in Idlib, and three in a settlement area in Latakia's Jabal al-Turkman.
Casualties were also reported in the said towns, added the statement.
