Turkey's Humanitarian Aid Foundation (IHH), Cansuyu and Kimse Yok mu charity organizations are making preparations to send more aid materials to the Rohingya Muslims in Arakan state of Myanmar after the Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's wife Mrs. Emine Erdogan visited the region on August 9.
The three charity organizations will send new funds to the region and implement new projects.
Among the projects are building an orphanage, a school and a health clinic in Arakan.
Moreover, the charity organizations will provide food and clothing to the Rohingya Muslims in upcoming days.
Turkey collects 38 million TL for Myanmar
Turkey has collected more than 38 million Turkish Liras (TL) for Muslims in Myanmar.
A statement by Prime Ministry Public Diplomacy Coordinator's Office said on Friday that Turkish Religious Affairs Foundation, Prime Ministry Disaster & Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD) and Turkish Red Crescent collected 38.1 million TL in total in their aid campaigns for Muslims in Arakan region of Myanmar.
