Death toll reached 30 from an earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter Scale in Indonesia's Aceh province.
An official from the country's National Disaster Mitigation Agency said more than 200 people were also injured.
The official said more than 4,000 houses and buildings were damaged in the province.
Twelve people were reported missing.
