During his meeting with Turkish Ambassador in Cairo Huseyin Avni Botsali, Egyptian Minister of Information Salah Abdel Maqsood asked for the assistance of Turkey while restructuring the media in his country.
We expect Turkey to support Egyptian media including financial assistance while constructing modern studios, he said.
We also target to make program exchange and cooperation in television, radio and news sectors with Turkey, said Maqsood, adding that they were willing to shoot documentary movies and shows which would introduce Turkish and Egyptian people to each other.
