The head of the Wagner paramilitary group criticized Russian military officials over a drone attack allegedly launched by Ukraine on Moscow.

“Get … out of the offices you've been put in to defend this country. You are the Ministry of Defense. You didn't do a damn thing to advance. Why … are you allowing these drones to fly to Moscow?” Yevgeny Prigozhin said in a statement on Telegram on Tuesday.

“And what do ordinary people do when drones with explosives crash into their windows?” Prigozhin further said, adding that he believes people have every right to ask Russian military officials such questions.

Russia has firmly blamed Ukraine for Tuesday's early morning strikes that damaged two residential buildings in Moscow but resulted in no casualties. President Vladimir Putin accused Kyiv of attempting to intimidate Russian civilians, describing the attacks as "a clear sign of terrorist activity."

Mykhailo Podolyak, Ukraine's presidential adviser, commented on the incident, claiming they are “being drawn into the era of artificial intelligence” and that “perhaps not all drones are ready to attack Ukraine and want to return to their creators.”
