LONDON
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) was protested in the British capital of London on Sunday for not letting Turkish Cypriot athletes compete in olympic games.
A large number of protestors gathered together in front of a London hotel where the IOC delegation was holding meetings on Sunday and symbolically handcuffed themselves in protest of the IOC for not inviting Turkish Cypriot athletes to the games.
The group of protestors were seen carrying banners that read "Turkish Cypriots alive but handcuffed in sports" and "Turkish Cypriots join in the olympics with the olympic flag".
The group also delivered a letter to the President of the IOC, Jacques Rogge, at the London hotel.
