BAGHDAD
Iraqi President Jalal Talabani's health was improving day by day, according to a written statement released by Iraq Presidential Palace press office on Monday.
Talabani was responding well to the treatment and this situation reflected positively on his speaking and moving ability, according to the statement.
Talabani was hospitalized in Baghdad after suffering a stroke on December 18, 2012. Later he was transferred to Germany for treatment.
