Israeli forces arrested 13 Palestinians from the holy city of Al-Quds (occupied East Jerusalem) and the West Bank city of Nablus in the early hours of Wednesday.

In Al-Quds, Israeli forces detained Ahmed Nader Awdeh, 17; Fadi Ragaby, 19; Mohamed Abdel-Moneim Awar, 15; and Mustafa Shehadeh, 17, on suspicion of throwing stones at Israeli forces, the Wadi Helweh Information Center said in a statement.

The center added that Israeli forces had also detained Ahmed Hadieb, 25, after raiding his home in the Old City of Al-Quds.

"They were transferred to the integration center in West Jerusalem," the local watchdog reported.

Meanwhile, Palestinian security sources said that ten Israeli military vehicles had staged an incursion into the West Bank city of Nablus at about 2:30am.

"The Israeli military force raided several neighborhoods in the city," one source told Anadolu Agency.

"The Israeli force arrested Yasser Manna, 24; Baker Sharayah, 22; Khaled Nemer Fayad, 23; Bakr Said Bilal, 22; Anas Raddad, 21; Mohamed Saleh Hamdan, 22; and Saleh al-Amer, 21," the source said.

Israel arrests Palestinians in the West Bank under various pretexts on an almost daily basis.

According to international law, the West Bank and Al-Quds – which were captured by Israel after the 1967 Mideast War – are occupied territories.
