CAIRO
Syria's former Prime Minister Riyad Hijab has said that it was impossible to make negotiations with Bashar al-Assad still in charge in Syria.
Hijab told The Anadolu Agency about details of his meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
"I told Lavrov that we would reject any solution proposal by Bashar al-Assad and other people who have Syrian people's blood on their hands," said Hijab.
Noting that Russia's stance on Syria crisis had never changed, Hijab stated that Moscow was still talking about a political solution.
Hijab, former prime minister of the country, defected the Assad regime in August to Jordan.
