Highlands, located in the Issyk Kul region of the Tian Shan Mountains in the north of Kyrgyzstan, attracts nature lovers.

The Grigorievka, Ananyevo and Semenovka highlands, at the foot of the North Tian Shan Mountains, fascinates visitors with their unique beauty. They are considered one of the important natural beauties in Kyrgyzstan.

While the plateaus offer a unique view and opportunity to rest in the fresh air, they also provide a suitable environment for mountain hiking and camping.

Many endemic plants, mountain goats, deer and eagles can be found on the plateaus surrounded by mountains at an altitude of 2,000 to 4,000 meters (6,561 to 13,123 feet).  

Grigorievka, Ananyevo, Semenovka highlands

The Grigorievka plateau, 60 kilometers (37 miles) from Cholpon-Ata, the holiday center of the Issyk-Kul region, is located near Grigorievka village.

The clear river flowing from the Kungey summit to Issyk Kul Lake is also a destination for visitors.

The Ananyevo plateau, located 2,355 meters (7,726 feet) above sea level, can be reached by off-road vehicles through dirt roads.

The Sacred Lake with crystal clear water, formed as a result of an earthquake 100 years ago, is also located there.

Highlands, located in the Issyk Kul region of the Tian Shan Mountains in the north of Kyrgyzstan, attracts nature loversLocated near the Kungey Ala Too peak and prone to sudden weather changes, the Semenovka plateau attracts attention with its fast-flowing river, magnificent rock slopes and waterfall.

Those who rest in traditional tents on the plateau, where local delicacies are served, can buy honey produced in the area.

Locals offer options such as taking a souvenir photo with an eagle and hiking with horses.
