Nine people were killed after being buried under mud and rubble due to the two separate landslides in northwest Gansu province of China.
Four were rescued but nine were still missing in the rain-triggered landslide according to the provincial emergency response office.
Rescue work was under way.
95 people had died due to the earthquake in the same region last week.
