Medical helicopter crash kills 10 in southern Iran
All aboard die in Friday evening crash, local media report

TEHRAN, Iran
All 10 people aboard a medical helicopter that crashed in the southern Iranian province of Fars on Friday have died, according to local media.
“Six crew [members], one emergency technician and three injured patients lost their lives in the accident, which happened at 8:30 pm local time [1600GMT],” Hassan Fayyazpour, a senior crisis management official in Fars province, was quoted as saying by Iran’s official news agency IRNA.
The helicopter had left the city of Khonj and was headed toward the provincial capital of Shiraz when it crashed, according to Fayyazpour.
