Obama delivers victory speech

CHICAGO

"I return to the White House more determined and more inspired than ever about the work there is to do and the future that lies ahead," US President Barack Obama told a cheerful crowd in his victory speech after his re-election.
In his speech at the McCormick Place, Obama thanked all US citizens who voted in the election, congratulating Mitt Romney on "a hard-fought campaign [...] In the weeks ahead, I also look forward to sitting down with Governor Romney to talk about where we can work together to move this country forward."
Obama praised praised his wife Michelle and daughters Sasha and Malia as well as Vice President Joe Biden and his campaign team for their support. 
"Our economy is recovering. A decade of war is ending. A long campaign is now over. And whether I earned your vote or not, I have listened to you. I have learned from you. And you've made me a better president."
