BEIJING
The number of casualties in an earthquake measuring 7.0 on the Richter Scale on Saturday in China's Sichuan province rose to 181.
According to Xinhua news agency, more than 11,200 people have been injured in the earthquake and some of them were in serious condition.
Aftershocks continue in the region and search and rescue teams have been dispatched to Sichuan.
