Georgian Defense Ministry says pilot killed in crash, pledges to do thorough investigation

The Georgian Defense Ministry on Tuesday reported a Su-25 fighter jet crash during a planned military exercise, saying the pilot was killed in the accident.
"During a planned military exercise, which included an aviation component, one of the aircraft belonging to the Defense Forces crashed," it said in a statement.
The ministry expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased pilot, Kakhaber Zurabashvili, and pledged a thorough investigation of the incident.
