BEIJING
Chinese Foreign Ministry on Monday announced that Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal al-Miqdad would visit China.
Spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Hua Cunying said that the Syrian official's visit would take place as part of China's efforts for a "political solution in Syria."
Al-Miqdad will meet with Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi and other officials between Monday and Thursday.
