ANKARA
At least 111 people were killed Monday, including 20 children and 10 women, in a series of airstrikes by the Syrian government, according to the Syrian Human Rights Watch (SHRW).
The SHRW reported the number of people killed in various cities are 85 in the northern city of Aleppo, 10 in Idlib, six in the southern suburb of capital Damascus, four people in Daraa, two people in Homs and Lattakia respectively, and one person in Deyru’z Zor and in Rakka.
The local coordination committees of Syria (LCCS), a group of networks that began reporting and organizing on protests as part of the Syrian uprising, said the Syrian air forces attacked Aleppo, Homs, Idlib, and the El-Muleyha neighborhood in the capital Damascus with barrel bombs.
Underlining that several corpses of women and children were recovered in the Kalemun region of Damascus, the report said the Syrian regime forces executed people trying to flee from the Lebanon bordering Nebk region and hid the bodies in the ground.
The Syrian regime has attacked the capital Damascus, Dareyy, Yarmuk, Kaaba, Cobar, and eastern Guta with rockets and ground missiles, the report said.
