Turkish flag carrier increases Istanbul-Damascus flights
Number of flights to reach 12 per week, from 7

ISTANBUL
Türkiye's flag air carrier Turkish Airlines on Monday said it increased its Istanbul-Damascus scheduled flights from seven to 12 per week.
The carrier said the change will come into effect as of July 8.
Turkish Airlines resumed its flights to Damascus in January, after suspending them in April 2012 due to the conflict in Syria.
The flights, which were planned for three days a week at first, were being operated daily due to an increase in demand.
