ANKARA (AA) -Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan received Yusuf Islam, a prominent convert to Islam who came to Turkey in order to ask for financial support for the construction of a mosque which will be built in Cambridge.
The meeting lasted about an hour.
In the meeting, Foundation of Muslim Academics also declared its intention to support the mosque project.
