SINAI
At least two civilians were killed and seven people including three soldiers were wounded when a group of unidentified men staged an attack on a military check point in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula early Wednesday.
A fire opened from a vehicle on a check point used by both the police and military in Nahal town of Sinai. Two passing-by civilians died in the incident.
Statement in regards to the attack has not been released from official authorities yet the wounded were taken to Suez Hospital, sources said.
Armed groups have been targeting military and police check points in Arish, Rafah and Sheikh Zuwaid cities of Sinai following the coup in the country.
