The typhoon Nari has left at least 11 dead, five missing in Vietnam, officials said on Thursday.
Floods following the Nari, which already had destroyed or damaged about 13,000 homes in seven provinces, inundated more than 34,000 homes in three central provinces, said the national floods and storms control department.
Nari hit Vietnam’s central coast on Tuesday after crossing the Philippines and killing 13 people there.
Nearly 5,000 people were evacuated from homes, added the officials.
