World's skinniest tower opens to residents in New York City
Steinway Tower boasts 24:1 height to width ratio, and is third tallest building in Manhattan

Steinway Tower, the world's skinniest skyscraper, has opened to residents in New York City.
The luxury condominium building is located at 111 West 57th Street in Manhattan, and boasts a 24:1 height to width ratio, according to its developers.
It stands at 1,428 feet (435 meters) tall, making it one of the largest buildings in the western hemisphere, and the third tallest in New York City, CNN reported.
In all, 60 apartments are included in the tower ranging from nearly $8 million for a studio to $66 million for a penthouse, according to CNN.
