Fire erupts in Islamabad’s Margalla hills
Pakistan military troops join efforts to extinguish fire, says army’s media wing

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan
Pakistan army on Friday joined efforts to extinguish the fire which erupted at Margalla hills in the capital Islamabad.
The fire blaze engulfed Kalanger village at Margalla hills on Thursday night.
The government took army’s help after local fire fighters failed to put out the blaze.
“Pakistan army troops reached to Kalanger village with all necessary equipment to control the fire,” said Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan army’s media wing.
Four army helicopters and Pakistan Air Force (PAF) are currently engaged in extinguishing the fire, the statement further added.
Details about the damage are not yet available.
