ANKARA
The European Central Bank left its key interest rate unchanged Thursday, ahead of its expected announcement of economic stimulus measures.
The bank left its main refinancing rate unchanged at 0.05 percent, and held the rate on its marginal lending facility at 0.30 percent.
The rate on its deposit facility was kept at negative 0.20 percent.
Markets rose slightly ahead of the announcement expected at 1330GMT of a massive economic stimulus program based on quantitative easing by ECB governor Mario Draghi.
