ISTANBUL 

Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 10,832.76 points, falling by 0.27% or 29.39 points from the previous close.

On Monday, the BIST 100 was up by 0.2% to 10,862.14 points, with a daily transaction volume of 122 billion Turkish liras ($3.33 billion).

As of 09.50 a.m. local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 36.6750 liras to the US dollar, 40.0655 to the euro, and 47.5805 to the British pound.

The price of an ounce of gold was $3,016.40, while Brent crude oil was trading at $71.10 per barrel.
