Another Hezbollah member killed in border clashes with Israel
Death toll of Hezbollah members since Oct. 8 rises to 246

BEIRUT
One more Hezbollah member was killed in border clashes with the Israeli army, the Lebanese group said on Tuesday.
This brought the death toll of the Hezbollah members since Oct. 8 to 246.
Clashes on the Lebanese-Israeli border areas since Oct. 8 have left 50 Lebanese civilians, dead, in addition to 12 members of the Amal Movement, 25 from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas groups, one Lebanese soldier and another security personnel.
Tension has flared along the border between Lebanon and Israel amid intermittent exchange of fire between Israeli forces and Hezbollah, in the deadliest clashes since the two sides fought a full-scale war in 2006.
The border tension comes amid an Israeli military offensive in the Gaza Strip following a cross-border attack by Hamas on Oct. 7.
