Three unidentified bodies were recovered from a print house in central Baghdad that burnt down Friday for unknown reasons, according to Iraq officials.
“Civil defense teams extinguished the blaze, which destroyed a print house on Baghdad’s Saadoun Street,” Interior Ministry spokesman Saad Maan said in a statement.
“After the fire was put out, three bodies were discovered inside,” Maan added without providing further details.
Baghdad Police Chief Hatem al-Jabri told Anadolu Agency that authorities had since launched an investigation to determine “whether the victims -- three men -- had died in the fire or were killed beforehand”.
