Akar shared his knowledge and experience with the institution's employees at the training organized at AAtölye under the coordination of AA Academy.
Emphasizing the importance of having a wide vocabulary in news writing, Akar drew attention to the use of the variety of words in the language in news writing.
Akar, who stated that many words in the Turkish language are passive and not actively used, pointed out the importance of reporters, especially field reporters, having dictionaries according to their fields.
Drawing attention to the fact that in agency news language, words are used limitedly and news is written without comment, Akar advised AA reporters to write on platforms where a wider vocabulary can be used.
Akar also stated that by having a different perspective, creative news can be produced from routine news, and explained that the use of data and history also provides resources for creativity.
Akar, who stated that archive monitoring would also provide a good opportunity for creative news writing, emphasized that one of the essentials of an AA employee is to produce news based on documents.
Akar said, "News is not a miracle. News is not something that is inspired. News is not fiction. News is life itself. A journalist is responsible for looking at every aspect of life with news from the moment he sits down with his family and watches TV in the evening."Akar, who stated that a good journalist is "a journalist who can suggest special news", also advised journalists to know the institution they work for well and to invest in themselves.
After his speech, Akar answered questions from AA employees.
