Training of New Generation Journalists!

The Anadolu Agency, established under the instructions of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in the period when the struggle of independence was starting, felt justified pride in announcing the struggle of independence to the entire world when the national struggle started. Established to make the voice of Anatolia heard by the world and having a special place in the history of the Republic, Anadolu Agency continues to advance along the path of being one of the most effective agencies of the world, in addition, it plays an important role in the development of journalism and reporting in our country.

Following the rapid developments in communication technology today, broadening its field of activities day by day, Anadolu Agency has strengthened its news network abroad, and has been publishing in 13 different languages in 41 countries, with representatives in 97 countries and employees of 107 different nationalities.

The Anadolu Agency raises a new generation of journalists of Turkey, the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Balkans in the News Academy.

The most important difference of Anadolu Agency News Academy is its understanding of training. The “master/ apprentice” doctrine which is increasingly being put aside in the profession of journalism is revived with the practical training at the Academy. Master journalists of Anadolu Agency serve as the “professional coach” of the trainees. Each trainee is enabled to write news and interviews, develop his/her special news reflex, and develop in the field of photos and videos.

The Anadolu Agency feels the justified pride of being able to convey its long-established knowledge and experience of almost a century to the new generations through the News Academy. I sincerely thank all who contributed.
