A total of 94 people were killed in several cities of Syria on Thursday during operations staged by forces loyal to the Syrian regime, activists said.
Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR), a London-based group that tracks civilian and dissident casualties, said that Assad forces killed 24 in the suburbs of capital Damascus, 17 in Aleppo, 16 in el-Haseqqeh, 10 in Idlib, 8 in Homs, 6 in Deir al-Zor, 5 in Dera'a, 3 in Hama, two each in Quneitra and Raqqah and one in Tarsus in air and land offensives.
Meanwhile, Syria Local Coordination Committee (LCC) said fierce street clashes continue in Sayida al-Zeynep and Ziyabiya towns of capital Damascus between the armed opposition groups and the Hezbollah militias.
Moreover, Syria's state news agency, SANA said regime forces made major gains against rebels.
