Eleven people including 3 policemen were wounded in Russia's volatile Dagestan region in a suicide blast in the region's capital Makhachkala, security authorities said.
A female suicide bomber blew herself up outside building of the Interior Ministry, authorities said.
Three of the wounded were in critical condition and were airlifted to Moscow.
Security forces cordoned off the area against a possible second bomb attack.
Last week, a string of car bombs in Makhachkala killed 8 people and wounded dozens.
