ISTANBUL
Syrian National Coalition for Opposition and Revolutionary Forces (SMDK) stated that Assad forces killed at least 18 people in the Khirbat al-Soda town of the Syrian province Homs.
The regime forces killed civilians in the village with guns and knives, according to a statement released by the coalition.
Stating that means of communication were restricted in the region, the coalition claimed that a new plan was to be put into effect by the Assad regime threatening the life of thousands of civilians in rural Homs.
"There is also great concern for villages located among Shabiha forces," SMDK added.
SMDK also called on international human rights institutions to research the incidents in Syria and avert new massacres.
