ISTANBUL

SimClever, developed by leading Turkish defense and technology firm HAVELSAN and its solution partner RISE Technology, enables medical trainers and students to do simulation-based training without time and space limitations thanks to its portable, compact design.

The simulation system offers a flexible and wide usage area in education with its structure that can adapt to different educational environments such as classrooms, outpatient clinics, and consulting rooms.

It includes simulators of various medical devices and methods such as patient monitor simulators, hybrid digital stethoscopes, lab modules, radiology modules, hybrid digital laryngoscopes, mechanical ventilator simulators, and hybrid digital defibrillators with a wide range of scenarios and seven different modules.

With SimClever, a medical training simulator developed to boost the clinical competence of healthcare personnel, HAVELSAN brought the correct equipment and appropriate intervention processes to the simulation environment at critical points, which are indispensable factors in the treatment process of patients and vital in medical cases.

The system, which was first put into use at Recep Tayyip Erdogan University Training and Research Hospital in the Turkish Black Sea city of Rize, has been in successful use for a while.

The widespread use of SimClever in Türkiye is set to curb dependence on foreign products.
