The 2024 Australian Open will see the Jannik Sinner vs. Daniil Medvedev final in men's singles on Sunday.
Russian third seed Medvedev on Friday completed an epic come back against Germany's Alexander Zverev to be at an Australian Open final for the third time. He was the 2021 and 2022 finalist in Melbourne.
Medvedev won a five-set semifinal match 5-7, 3-6, 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-5), 6-3 as the Medvedev vs. Zverev showdown at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena lasted four hours and 18 minutes.
Medvedev, who won the US Open in 2021, is seeking his first Australian Open title.
His opponent Sinner, 22, who is from Italy, did not win any tennis major.
Earlier Friday, Sinner eliminated Australian Open men's defending champion Novak Djokovic from Serbia.
He became the first Italian player to reach an Australian Open singles final.
