Dutch midfielder Simons joins RB Leipzig on loan from PSG
Xavi Simons signs 1-year contract with German club to wear number 20 shirt

ISTANBUL
Dutch midfielder Xavi Simons moved to Red Bull Leipzig on a season-long loan from Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday.
"The Bundesliga is one of the best leagues in Europe and RB Leipzig are one of the best teams in the Bundesliga," Simons said in a statement, adding that "coming to Leipzig is the right step for me because RBL constantly show how to develop young players and be successful with them."
Scoring 19 goals, Simons finished the Dutch top-tier Eredivisie as the top goal scorer last season with PSV Eindhoven and was part of the PSV side that won the 2022-23 Dutch Cup.
He helped Paris Saint-Germain win the 2021-22 Ligue 1 title.
The 20-year-old has so far played four times for the Netherlands.
Meanwhile, the Dutch attacking midfielder will wear the number 20 shirt at RB Leipzig.
