The Euro 2016 Group A match between Switzerland and Romania ended in a 1-1 draw at the Parc des Princes in Paris Wednesday.
Romania took the lead in the 18th minute of the game through a penalty played by Bogdan Stancu who scored a low shot into the bottom left corner.
In the 57th minute, Admir Mehmedi equalized for Switzerland with a striking hit inside the right corner of the net.
The tournament’s Group E opening match saw Ireland and Sweden draw 1-1 Monday at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis.
Wednesday's other Group B match is currently taking place at Stade Velodrome, Marseille, between France and Albania.
