Football: Nacer Chadli joins Medipol Basaksehir
31-year-old Belgian winger inks 2-year contract with Istanbul side
ISTANBUL
Nacer Chadli, a Belgian winger of Moroccan origin, has moved to Turkish football side Medipol Basaksehir, the club confirmed on Thursday.
The Istanbul club said Chadli has signed a two-year deal.
Chadli has previously played for Dutch side Twente, English teams Tottenham Hotspur and West Bromwich Albion, as well as France's Monaco.
He also made appearances in the 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cups for Belgium.
The 31-year-old, who helped his nation clinch the bronze medal in the 2018 event in Russia, will wear the No.11 jersey.
