ANKARA
Turkey's Minister of National Defence Ismet Yilmaz said Monday, in the scope of combating terrorism, 6205 Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) personnel were martyred between the years of 1984 and August 5, 2012.
Yilmaz replied to the parliamentary question of main opposition party, CHP's Istanbul MP Oktay Eksi on Monday.
Yilmaz said in his reply, every single incident involving death caused by combating terrorism was investigated on administative and judicial aspects.
Yilmaz added that in the scope of combating terrorism, 6205 TSK personnel were martyred between the years of 1984 and August 5, 2012.
