The biggest center of AA Arabic News Coordinator's Office in the Middle East was inaugurated with a ceremony.
Anadolu Agency Executive Board Chairman & Director General Kemal Ozturk Ozturk said that the strongest news bridge was opened between Egypt, Turkey and Middle East.
Ozturk said that AA's main mission was to announce the voice of Anatolia to the world, adding that the world was now hearing the voice of Turkey in five languages via AA.
Ozturk said that AA was among the top ten news agencies of the world, and it targeted to be among top five by the 100th anniversary of its foundation.
Noting that Arabic News Desk had 120 personnel, Ozturk said that total number of personnel at the agency was 1,000.
AA broadcasts 150 Arabic news daily. We will broadcast 200 news, 200 photos and 70 footage as of January 1, 2013, said Ozturk, adding that the agency would broadcast 4,000 news, 2,501 photos and 401 footage daily.
Ozturk said that AA established its Mideast District Office especially in Egypt because Turkey and Egypt were the strongest and most important two countries of the Middle East and Islamic world.
