Anadolu Agency Deputy Director General Cagatay Culcuoglu stressed the Anadolu Agency’s (AA) innovations, digital developments and sense of worldwide publishing over the last two years at the 4th News Agencies World Congress on Thursday in Riyadh.
Culcuoglu delivered a speech in a panel discussion themed “Evaluation of new opportunites” held on the last day of the congress, which was hosted by the Saudi Press Agency with the participation of various international news agencies, such as Reuters and AFP.
Culcuoglu mentioned that AA's strategy for the adoptation of innovations in the last two-year period was to become a world brand. AA has offices in more than 40 countries and has established the Anadolu Agency News Academy to educate the next generation of journalists for the Turkish and world press.
In addition to these innovations, the Anadolu Agency has added the Finance News Terminal which allows market data to become available to subscribers via the AA Finance Terminal.
Culcuoglu also presented the Anadolu Agency’s "News Stream System” (HAS) which was designed in line with the expectations of journalists and media institutions in parallel with the standards of the International Press Telecommunications Council (IPTC).
