ISTANBUL
Deputy Free Syrian Army (FSA) Commander, Colonel Maliq el-Kurdi has said, "We struggle to take control of strategic regions of Syrians army from military point of view."
Commander Kurdi mentioned FSA's need of quality arms and military equipment and said to AA, "There are extensive stock of military materials in regime's strategic points. It is not enough for us to take control of these points with the arms we have."
He added that since the first day of the revolution, the FSA experienced difficulties in finding arms and military equipments.
He noted that opponents do not have anything else except machine guns, rifles and bazookas.
Colonel Kurdi said they take over the tanks, arsenals and military vehicles of the Syrian army and said, "These are our main sources. However, this does not meet our demands. What we need is antiaircraft missiles and tanks."
Kurdi made a call to international army to support in the scope of formation of an organized army
