The ceremony began at 21.00 hours (London local time).

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan also attended a reception hosted by Britain's Queen Elizabeth II for heads of state and government who came to London for the 2012 Olympic Games.
The reception took place at the Buckingham Palace.
Prime Minister Erdogan is attending the official inauguration of the 2012 Olympic Games in London on Friday.
Earlier in the day, Erdogan met with his British counterpart David Cameron.
