Soldier, village guard martyred in SE Turkey

DIYARBAKIR, Turkey

The terrorist group PKK's armed attack in southeastern Diyarbakir province martyred a soldier and a village guard on Monday.

A statement released by the Diyarbakir governorate said that a specialized sergeant and a village guard were martyred when terrorists opened fire on a moving vehicle at around 3 p.m. local time (GMT1200).

The governorate offered condolences to martyrs' families and the Turkish nation.
