ANKARA (AA) - Turkish Council of Ministers convened in the capital province of Ankara on Monday.
Speaking to reporters following the cabinet meeting, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister and Spokesperson for the Turkish government Bulent Arinc underlined that they were working on terrorist organization PKK's retreating from Turkey by giving up weapons.
It is not possible at the moment to elaborate about the calendar of a possible retreat and how it will actually happen, Arinc stressed.
Asked if the Turkish government would provide a legal assurance during the retreating as part of the solution process, Arinc underlined that the Turkish Parliament would not be involved in such a retreating process.
We have said time and time again that there was no need for a law on the retreat (of PKK) and that the Turkish government was the only interlocutor involved in the process, Arinc also noted.
