ANKARA
Turkish President Abdullah Gul said that it was important that Turkmens should act together for common targets.
Gul, who met representatives from Syrian Turkmens Front on Friday, said that unity in targets and statements was vital in order to assure rights and laws of Turkmens while shaping up a new and democratic Syria.
Turkmens were one of the strongest ties who connected Turkey and Syria, he added.
