Four Egyptian soldiers were injured on Friday in a bomb blast in Sinai Peninsula.
An explosive device exploded at an armored vehicle moving on the Arish highway, a security source said.
Another explosive device exploded on the highway with no casualties reported.
Egypt's Sinai Peninsula has seen a surge in violence against security personnel since the July 3 ouster of elected president Mohamed Morsi by the military.
The Egyptian army is currently carrying out a massive peninsula-wide military operation with the ostensible aim of combating "militancy and terrorism."
