ISTANBUL
Mahmoud Abdul Hamid Al-Ceben, Sheikh of Al-Aqidah tribe in Syria, said on Monday that 80 percent of people in Deir Ez-Zur were forced to immigrate to the different cities.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA) correspondent on Monday, Al-Ceben said that living conditions in the city were getting worse day by day.
"There are water and electricity cuts. People are deprived of basic food items. It is very hard for especially children to get milk. Because of shelling and random missile attacks people are forced to move to different places in the region," said Al-Ceben.
Stating that most of the people moved to the cities of Raqqa and El Haseke, the north east of Syria, Al-Caban called on global powers and human rights organizations to help Syrians who were in need.
