DIYALA
Fourteen Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant militants have been killed in fighting with Shia militias, police in Iraq’s Diyala province said.
Police chief Jamil al Shimari said seven Shia fighters were killed in the clashes in the province Thursday with nine ISIL and nine Shia combatants wounded.
An ISIL suicide bomber was also killed, Shimari added.
